Centennial Park
Located at 2200 S. Friendswood Dr., facilities include two picnic pavilions, a 3/4 mile hiking/jogging trail, playground, stock fishing pond, concessions, restrooms, lighted multipurpose field with a 400-meter all-weather track, tennis courts, lighted football field, lighted practice field, five lighted soccer fields, and parking for over 200 vehicles.
Evelyn B. Newman Amphitheater
Located in Centennial Park, this facility provides space for fine art productions, community events, special events and private rentals.
Old City Park
Located at 300 Briarmeadow near Winding Way, facilities include picnic tables, barbecue pits, playground equipment and nature trails. A large riding arena with bleachers, concession stand and announcers booth host local horse shows and riding events. Approximately six acres of parkland allow plenty of parking.
Leavesley Park
(Jones Hangar)
Located at 901 Buckingham in Regency Estates, this facility is available for small and large social events, private parties and many other activities. Facilities include restrooms, kitchen tables and chairs, large inside open area, and outdoor playground equipment.
Renwick Sports Complex
Located at 205 Stadium Dr. behind Westwood Elementary School, this facility contains 19 acres of baseball and multipurpose fields for various youth sports leagues.
Stevenson Park
Located at 1100 S. Friendswood Dr. (FM 518), this beautiful park can be enjoyed by the entire family. Facilities include playground area, picnic tables, four lighted tennis courts and restrooms. This is also the site for Concerts in the Park, 4th of July celebration, and Santa in the Park. Additionally, the park contains –
- Friendswood Sesquicentennial Pool – can be reserved for pool parties.
- Gazebo – covered, lighted area can be reserved for wedding ceremonies, etc.
- Pavilion – covered, lighted area can be reserved for reunions, company parties, etc.
1776 Memorial Park
Located in Imperial Estates off FM 2351, this nature park has 12.6 acres of wooded area along the banks of Clear Creek. This park is ideal for hiking/jogging, bird watching and nature study.
Friendswood Sports Park
Located off FM 528 and Moore Rd. at 2910 W. Parkwood, this 27-acre multi-purpose sports park contains four lighted softball fields, three lighted multi-purpose fields, a concession stand and restrooms. This beautiful facility accommodates girl’s softball, adult softball, youth soccer, lacrosse and football.
Activity Building
Located at 416 Morningside, the facility houses the Friendswood Senior Citizens Program, and provides fitness classes and meeting room space.
